Constructed using durable 100% recycled nylon fabric and webbing, combined with recycled polyester components, the Patagonia Guide Water Sling is designed to withstand hard outdoor use while maintaining a lightweight profile. The pack carries an IPX-7 waterproof rating, meaning it is built to handle full immersion while protecting valuable gear from water intrusion.

Hydrophobic shoulder straps and back panels resist water absorption, helping the sling remain comfortable even after repeated exposure to wet environments. At only 670 grams, it offers substantial carrying capability without becoming cumbersome during active fishing situations.

Designed Around Practical Fishing Use

The asymmetrical sling design allows comfortable wear over either shoulder, while the dual-direction zipper system provides quick access for both left- and right-handed anglers. Inside, adjustable organisation options and dedicated storage pockets keep fly boxes, leaders, tools, and smaller accessories organised and easy to reach.

An integrated net scabbard stores a landing net securely when not in use while keeping it immediately accessible when needed. The sling is also compatible with Patagonia’s Convertible Vest and Stealth Work Station systems for a more integrated setup on the water.
