Gabon has the longest stretch of untouched coastline in Africa. Combined with a massive, nutrient-rich estuary system, it offers avid saltwater anglers the chance to target the unique species of West Africa using both spin and fly tackle. Large, aggressive game fish eagerly strike a well-fished fly or lure, set against the backdrop of Africa’s most pristine tropical rainforest. This is a one-of-a-kind saltwater fishing and ecotourism experience.
Sette Cama also offers guided wildlife experiences in Loango National Park. Guests may see chimpanzees, lowland gorillas, red river hogs, forest sitatunga, duikers, monkeys, and even forest elephants and buffalo on the beach. The birding is world-class, with opportunities to spot vermiculated fishing owls, chocolate-backed kingfishers, and white-crested tiger herons, among many others.
Set on the southern boundary of Loango National Park, Sette Cama offers an exclusive wilderness experience.
Accommodation is in wooden chalets with twin beds and ensuite bathrooms. Each room has air-conditioning and plug points for charging devices.
Meals are served in the central living area, which features a stocked bar, dining space, lounge, and a deck overlooking the Ndogo Estuary.
Sette Cama offers an abundance of fly and spin fishing opportunities. Angling is either boat-based (within the estuary and lagoon systems) or on foot in the surf and around the lagoon mouth.

Wildlife and Loango National Park
Sette Cama is located on the southern border of Loango National Park, a magical window into a time when elephants and buffalo roam the beaches, gorillas and chimpanzees thrive in the rainforest, and giant fish rule the waves.
As part of the protected area network, Loango National Park spans 1,550 km² of forests, wetlands, grassy plains, mangroves, lagoons, and sandy beaches along Gabon’s southern coast. Sette Cama Lodge provides small groups of guests with an intimate experience of the park’s unique and diverse ecosystems.
While some activities are boat- and vehicle-based, most are guided walks led by in-house professional wildlife guides. These excursions offer the chance to encounter forest wildlife such as chimpanzees, western lowland gorillas, forest elephant, forest buffalo, red river hogs, sitatungas, leopards, surfing hippos, and various monkey and duiker species.
