Tanzania Tigerfish 2018 – Week 2

Week 2 of the season, and both the Mnyera and Ruhudji River are looking good. As always, the Ruhudji was producing more consistent action in the early season. This being due to the fact that her waters warm up earlier with her longer length and vast shallow sandbanks. The deeper and shorter length Mnyera is all about working hard really big femail fish this time of year, as the smaller male fish are note yet feeding freely. If you are after PB and and a shot at truly massive fish. This is the time to be fishing these rivers. The fish are in prime condition prior to the spawn, and receive and extra turbo boost and bout of stamina in the cooler oxygen rich waters.

The second week of the 2018 Tanzania Tigerfish season we welcomed Father and Son team, Mark and Neville, booked through The Fly Shop
